Season Three

Mac and Frank start a band with Charlie. Mac is the lead guitarist, Frank is the drummer, and Charlie is the pianist. Mac questions Frank's attire and rejects his idea of calling the band "The Pecan Sandies" and instead declares the band name "Chemical Toilet". They both kick Charlie out of the band for his Nightman song's obscene lyrics and replace him with Dennis. They shortly kick Dennis out of their band due to his over excessive glamour.

Season Four

Mac announces that he wants to play the Nightman in Charlie's musical, adding his own detail that the Nightman has cat eyes. Frank dials his cell phone and tells Mac he's "already on it" when Mac asks if Frank knows a "cat eyes guy". (The Nightman Cometh)

Season 7

After Mac's weight gain, he and Frank bond over rum ham.

Notes

• Mac claims Frank adopted him in The Gang Goes on Family Fight; while this is never verified, Frank has indeed adopted Mac in some capacity (the best proof being Mac Finds His Pride).
• Both are the only members of the gang to forego wearing jeans in favor of slacks (cabana pants or black khakis for Frank, navy blue Dickies for Mac). They also are the only two to normally not wear sneakers (crocs or slip on leather shoes for Frank until he wears sneakers in season 15, combat boots for Mac).
